Dr. Tuete is an experienced advanced practice clinician with a background spanning primary care, behavioral health, and critical care. He brings more than 10 years of clinical experience, including nearly a decade in intensive care nursing and three years at ChristianaCare caring for medically complex patients in high-acuity settings.

At St. Albert Family Clinic, Dr. Tuete provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for both physical and behavioral health, emphasizing prevention, chronic disease management, and coordinated treatment of the whole person. His philosophy centers on compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to take an active role in their long-term wellness.

Graduate education at Thomas Jefferson University and La Salle University, with advanced preparation in adult-gerontology primary care, psychiatric mental health, and healthcare administration. More than 10 years of clinical experience.

Counselor | Art Therapist

Bethanie Hakes is a licensed clinical counselor and registered art therapist who provides evidence-based counseling to clients working through a range of mental health and life concerns. Since 2016, she has supported clients throughout Delaware navigating addiction, trauma, grief, and self-discovery, drawing on both professional training and lived experience.

In her work, Bethanie helps clients process emotion, build insight, and strengthen coping skills within a compassionate, judgment-free space grounded in the therapeutic relationship. She meets each client where they are and tailors treatment to their individual goals, and as a registered art therapist she can integrate the creative process when it supports a client's care, offering an additional avenue for expression alongside talk-based therapy.

Bethanie is committed to helping clients achieve emotional regulation, self-understanding, and sustainable personal growth.

Januarius Asongu

Dr. Asongu provides whole-person, evidence-informed care to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He works with clients on anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship and family difficulties, substance use and recovery, stress, identity concerns, and major life transitions. Some clients arrive knowing exactly what they want to address; others simply feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected.

Dr. Asongu works collaboratively with clients and families to understand their concerns, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and develop practical coping skills, supporting them as they heal, recover, reconnect, and flourish. His approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma- and recovery-informed care, and can integrate faith and spirituality when desired.
